The departure of Zakary Risinger from the role of Sam and Jason’s son was hinted at by the casting of Asher Jared Antonyzyn, a rookie to GENERAL HOSPITAL, to replace Danny Morgan in the cast last week.

On Riskinger’s parent-run Instagram profile, Heather, his mother, posted, “The cat is out of the bag.” “We would like to express our deep gratitude for the opportunity to play Danny, even for a brief period of time, as we have been aware of this for some time.”

On November 24, 2021, the 14-year-old Risinger—who has been performing since he was a baby—made his stage debut. Zakary’s mother went on, “This opportunity came at a time that was so wonderful for him.” “Zak is not depressed right now; he is flooded with opportunity.”

Even though Risinger is only a teenager, it appears from his mother’s article that he is handling the news of his recast like the seasoned showbiz professional that he is! Heather remarked, “He understands sometimes things have to change or aren’t a fit because he has worked all 14 of his life.” “He feels immensely appreciative to be a tiny part of GH’s rich history.”

As Risinger and his mother handed over the reins as the iconic Port Charles figure, they wished Antonyzyn luck as he leaves his own imprint on Danny Morgan. The child star’s mother said, “We hope you all will be as kind to him as you have been to us. We are very excited to see his replacement shine.” “Many thanks.”

“Thank you, GH, for the amazing experience!” Risinger added in an Instagram story that went along with his post. He continued by saying that he would be “forever grateful” to the casting team led by Mark Teschner for the 2021 casting.

We hope for the best for Risinger’s future and anticipate seeing him on television very soon!
