Season 4 of Peaky Blinders finished with an expectedly epic final, but what's the future for Thomas Shelby, his family, and his kingdom. The next season could be the most exciting yet, as they enter politics and halls and spread their influence to the US in the aftermath of the financial crash of 1929.
And while the next season hasn't been announced yet, Series Director Steven Knight said he'd like to see seven seasons of the show, so we might hope to see the Peaky Blinders Gang announcement soon.
Of course, after five seasons, it wouldn't end after Cliffhanger's dramatic finish. We have nothing to do with the Peaky Blinds, however, except for the note that they are to be named season 6 and episode 1. We know that pre-production is underway, and this script still exists, but we're still waiting for the release date and more information.
Release Date:
Although the BBC has not officially confirmed this, filming has already started in the sixth season of the hit gangster show. After becoming a CBE on the New Year Honors list, Knight revealed to the BBC that he had finished his entire tour. It is also expected that filming will begin shortly after the beginning of filming reports in November 2019.
Cast Details:
The main question after the fifth season of the show was whether Tommy was alive or not. Knight revealed that he would be the star of season six so that the tourists want Murphy to return to the leading role. Paul Anderson, as Arthur Shelby, Helen McCrory as Aunt Polly, Finn Cole as Michael Gray, Sophie Rundle as Ada Shelby, and Natasha O'Keefe as Lizzie Shelby are expected to be other recipients.
Stephen Graham is also a tyrant in the next season, but this isn't going to be the way Al Capone felt before. Julia Robert, who some fans believe may play Gina's mother in the series.
Plot Details:
**Spoilers Alert**
The five-season ended with Sir Oswald Mosley's failed assassination attempt. We'd expect Tommy to see how he's trying to deal with the 6th season defeat, and he's going to try to find out who's the mole in Shelby. The sixth season would have taken place in the early 1930s when the world was still turning after the Great Depression. In the United Kingdom, unemployment and poverty have increased and only stabilized after the end of the decade.
