The Young and the Restless tease that Victor will go to the GCAC for a meeting that his son Adam has scheduled for next week. Victor has no idea that Adam wants to prove his father is incapable. Adam is going to set up Dr. Skelton, a psychiatrist, to observe Victor’s behavior.
During the meeting, Victor will feign illness while commending his sons for their contributions to the newly formed business that resulted from the merger of McCall Unlimited and Kirsten Inc. Just as Adam is going to inform Victor that the merger never happened, Nick intervenes and informs everyone about the intention to have Victor examined by a psychiatrist.
Victor will approach Adam and inquire as to its veracity, oblivious that Nick is on his side. Adam will undoubtedly be upset that Nick revealed his scheme and damaged his reputation. According to teasers for The Young and the Restless, Adam will attempt to clarify that he is employing the psychiatrist in order to assist Victor in a sincere manner, but Victor will likely suspect ulterior reasons. Adam first intended to take advantage of Victor’s peculiar actions. But he really began to take care of his father when he noticed Victor struggle with what appeared to be dementia. But others increasingly seem to doubt his concerns. Victor’s daughter Victoria will arrive, concerned about her father, just as he is about to leave.
Everyone should immediately report to Victor’s office, he will say. Victor will disclose that there is a traitor among them when they all get together at Newman.
