For any parent, learning to drive their adolescent is a stressful milestone.

But on Wednesday, as Bec and Lleyton Hewitt drove their 17-year-old daughter Mia about Sydney, they appeared to have everything under control.

All three of their children were in the car while the couple fastened L-plates to their brand-new $53,000 Mini Countryman and Mia sat in the driver’s seat.

The car, which had leather seats and sleek black styling on the bonnet, is thought to be Mia’s; it may have been a birthday present or a prize for excelling in school.

Bec donned a black tank top with baggy high-waisted jeans. She has been married to former world No. 1 tennis player Lleyton for 17 years.

The 39-year-old ex-Home and Away actress pulled her dark hair back from her face and tied it into a low bun.

Before getting in the car, Mia appeared a little anxious, and her mother had a focused expression as they started driving.

Cruz, 14, and Ava, 12, the Hewitts’ younger children, were pictured eagerly inspecting their new vehicle as Lleyton was seen driving it to the curb.

Bec and Lleyton were seen taking a stroll together earlier this month in Sydney’s Rose Bay.

At one point, Lleyton bent down and kissed his wife on the cheek as they intensified their PDA.

Since 2005, the Hewitts have been wed.

After getting married, they bought a $3.8 million villa on the Old Fort Bay estate and moved to the Bahamas’ island of Nassau with their kids.

The family relocated back to Australia from the Bahamas in 2016. A year later, in April 2017, they bought a house in Melbourne’s Toorak neighborhood.

Then, in what was initially intended to be a short move, the family moved to Sydney in preparation for Bec’s performance on Dancing with the Stars.

Bec gained prominence from 1998 to 2005 portraying Hayley Smith on Home and Away. She also had a singing career and in 2003, she put out the popular song All Seats Taken.
