Claire Sweeney’s character, Cassie Plummer, is appreciative that she was given a shot at the garage, but things change when drug dealer Dean shows up and demands money from her.
The newcomer offers to pay by the end of the day, but Abi Webster (Sally Carman), who returns to see Cassie taking herself to the petty cash, is quick to recognize Dean and knows full well that something is going on!
While trying to find the time to buy Ruby new boots before her party, Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) instead gives Cassie the money to do so.
However, Cassie meets with Dean to purchase narcotics. When Ty realizes what has transpired, he discovers an overdosed Cassie on the sidewalk.
Is she going to survive?
Under the guise of a business meeting, Henry Newton (George Banks) entices Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) to a hotel bar. However, when he confirms there is no meeting and reveals he has lost his job, he also confesses his love for her and his desire for them to spend the rest of their lives together.
How is Gemma going to react?
Finally, when Sabrina Adetiba (Luana Santos) and Max Turner (Paddy Bever) spend more and more time together, Lauren Bolton (Cait Finnon) is saddened.
To Max’s dismay, the café employee chooses to make out that Sabrina and Max are dating.
Following Lauren’s outburst, Max promises to make things right by wrecking the salon. However, things quickly go out of hand, and a police officer ends up detaining Lauren on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
