Jacinta Stapleton of Neighbours has suggested that Kyle Canning and Roxy Willis’ wedding would be marred by “tragedy.”
The singer hinted at what her character Amy Greenwood will be up to in early 2022 in a promotional video released on the show’s official Twitter account.
“We’re all there celebrating this lovely wedding when catastrophe hits,” Jacinta explained.
Could the tragedy be linked to the devastating storm that will hit Erinsborough next year? The 2022 teaser depicts “gale force winds” endangering life, and while there is no assurance that this will directly result in a character’s death, we do know that someone will die in upcoming episodes.
Jacinta also speculated on what would happen next in Amy, Levi Canning, and Ned Willis’ polyamorous relationship, implying that at least one person’s heart will be shattered.
“Amy has been enjoying her polyamorous relationship, but she is about to experience some heartbreak. Who will it be this time?” she stated “Will Amy, Levi, and Ned be able to maintain their relationship? It’s impossible to say.”
At the end of 2021, the trio was having relationship problems, with Ned attempting to get Amy to drop Levi so that he could become exclusive with her.
Amy declined Ned’s proposal, leaving Ned to contemplate if he wants to stay in the polyamorous relationship. However, in early 2022, Amy’s daughter Zara Selwyn, portrayed by Freya Van Dyke, would come to Erinsborough, posing a new challenge.
