The businessman seems like he’ll be misbehaving in the reboot.

Veteran Neighbours actor Stefan Dennis has hinted at a shocking plot for his character Paul Robinson in the Amazon Freeview revival of Neighbours.

The actor, who has been portraying the cutthroat tycoon since March 1985, is slated to reprise the role.

The lone surviving original cast member of Neighbours responded to some planned Paul hijinks in a brief clip posted on the show’s official Twitter page.

“Are you kidding me? Paul is to carry out their request?” Dennis remarks while appearing to be examining the script on a computer screen.

“Even though I’ve done some odd things in the past, THAT is unimaginable. I think you should pay attention…”

Fans were pleased to see Terese Willis, Paul’s true love, and his happy ending (Rebekah Elmaloglou). Despite having such a turbulent romance throughout the years, the two were able to patch things up in time for the season finale last summer.

The year 2022 for the Australian soap opera was quite exciting. Following Channel 5’s cancellation, the programme aired what was reportedly its final episode ever in July.

Many people thought they would lastly see the Ramsay Street residents during the poignant last scenes, during which many returnees went back to Erinsborough to say hello. When it was revealed in November that Amazon Freevee would pick up Neighbours for viewers in the UK and the US, with a new season beginning later this year, it was unexpectedly brought back to life.
