A vasectomy may be in Joe Swash’s future as part of his intention to “put a cap” on the number of children he and Stacey Solomon will have.
Joe Swash, an EastEnders actor, has said that he has decided against having more children, despite his wife Stacey Solomon’s objections. The couple currently has six children together.
Joe, a cast member of EastEnders, said he has been “fighting a losing battle” to get Stacey to agree to his plans because she can only support him for “three or four years” before wanting another child.
The couple already has a son Rex, 4, a daughter Rose, 23, and a baby girl named Belle. Joe also has a son named Harry, 16, from a previous relationship, and Stacey has kids named Leighton, 11, and Zachary, 15, from past relationships.
We adore our entire family, especially our children. But somewhere, we’ve got to put a stop on it. Six seems like a fair number to me. He joked, “I suppose the snip might be in the cards.
“I’m trying to fight it, but it’s a losing battle – Stacey keeps telling me it’s reversible, and that’s a big hint,” he continued to Closer magazine.
Joe and Stacey started dating in 2015 after meeting while filming ITV2’s “I’m A Celebrity” in Australia. After four years of marriage, they welcomed their son Rex, a Get Me Out of Here! spin-off, as their first child.
Since then, they’ve added daughter Rose and infant Belle to their family.
Joe claimed earlier this year that he and Stacey were “addicted” to having children, although they acknowledged that it was challenging to find time for one another with so many children to look after.
We’re currently at number six, he said to OK! back in July.
The baby stage passes by so quickly, and before you know it, they’re toddlers, which makes you long for new babies.
Joe previously declared that he would “never say never” to having additional kids.
The actor did admit, though, to The Mirror that raising so many kids “is exhausting.”
He continued, “Me and Stacey have been tired for so long now that it’s become the norm.”
He continued by discussing their parenting style and how they alternate their work obligations so that one of them is constantly at home with the children.
“It’s challenging, but we must both work. We wouldn’t change it since it is what it is.
“All these kids are loved so much in this house. We feel quite fortunate.
It follows Stacey’s previous admission that her relationship with Joe was in a “non-romantic” stage.
