The Home and Away actress Sophie Dillman has shared her 2023 New Year’s resolution.

The 29-year-old actress said on Saturday that she wants to “focus on being happy” and find “joy” in the upcoming year.

“My goal for the coming year is to experience joy.” She said, “I think I really want to focus on being happy, doing things I love, and doing things for myself next year.”

After battling through the pandemic, Sophie, who portrays Ziggy Astoni on the soap, added that she needs some downtime to recover.

After working so hard for so long, she continued, “I want to take some time to focus on me.”

It comes after rumours that the show will end with Sophie and her on- and off-screen partner, Patrick O’Connor.

The couple were absent from a fresh group photo Lynne McGranger teased for the upcoming season.

The Channel Seven show’s Irene, played by Lynne, revealed to followers on Instagram that the couple’s final scenes were shot in August.

When followers noticed Sophie and Patrick were “missing” from the cast photo, the actress was responding to comments.

Lynne could be seen posing with the cast members of the show as well as newcomer Kyle Shilling, who will play Mali Hudson, in the image she shared to her stories.

On Lynne’s thread, viewers expressed their dissatisfaction. One person wrote: “Heartbroken that Dean and Ziggy have left,” and another added: “Home and Away…[won’t] be the same without them.”

The departure of Sophie and Patrick has not yet been officially confirmed by Channel Seven.
