The inconsistencies were first discovered earlier this month by viewers who found that there was no embrace between characters Alex (played by Zoe Ventoura) and Willow (Sarah Roberts) in an episode aired here in Australia-a kiss that was otherwise screened across the Atlantic.

"Seven don't believe we can manage kisses of the same sex, given it PG timeslot, and the girls just rub each other's heads," Mercado concluded in his article. "THAT is bigotry, guys." This is where 67-year-old McGranger piped up, speaking in a screenshot caught by TV Tonight, "Absolutely agree on Andrew! It's my freakin's workplace and I'm humiliated and appalled that the attitude is so darn authoritarian."

Channel Seven released a statement to the ABC in early February, claiming that the incorrect edition of the two series had gone on air because of "human error."
"As with any television show, various changes are made all the way up to final transmission throughout the post-production process," they wrote in a statement.
