A major career step for the well-known TikToker, internet sensation Millie Ford, is scheduled to appear in a guest role on Home and Away.
The 27-year-old influencer described getting the part as “a dream come true” and expressed her desire to pursue a career in mainstream acting.
Millie will appear on the show from tonight’s episode as Montana, a social media influencer. Everyone in her life, she claimed, laughed a little bit at the fact that she plays an influencer.
“It’s difficult to reveal too much about my persona,” Millie stated to 7NEWS.com.au. “But I will say it’s quite fun and we had the best time.”
Millie gained popularity on TikTok by sharing funny videos that went viral. She now has over 1.5 million followers on the app, so it seemed like a logical move for the growing star to go into acting.
“Basically, I was doing silly little impressions of people from my past—like mums, teachers, and other characters from my life,” the woman remarked.
“I deliberately decided to take a chance on acting and really give it a go,” the actress remarked. “I got an amazing creative representative and acting agent in the end.”
Millie’s friends and fans can’t wait for her to make her Summer Bay debut tonight.
“Stop it,” said influencer Jade Tunchy, a colleague.
“This may just be my cue to start watching Home & Away again,” a viewer said. Another said, “The best thing since sliced bread.”
“The greatest thing that has ever happened! You look amazing in Summer Bay, girl,” commented another.
