General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) is worried about Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) decision to investigate whose bullet landed in him.
But he’s doing so with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), the adversary of Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and his ex-wife. Is he more concerned about Curtis’ safety or Portia’s response?
General Hospital Spoilers: Marshall Ashford Asks If That’s A Good Idea
When Marshall learns that Curtis and Jordan are working together to locate the Metro Court sniper, he asks Curtis whether he truly believes it’s a smart idea.
When the shots started, it was initially believed that the sniper was going for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who was seated together.
Curtis was shot in the direction of a table where Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston), Portia, and Jordan were seated when the bullet struck him; at first, it was believed to have ricocheted.
With all of their issues with Selina Wu, Curtis has begun to wonder if he wasn’t simply in the wrong place at the wrong moment (Lydia Look).
Since he was shot and eventually made enough of a recovery to be discharged from General Hospital, she has been attempting to get his club, The Savoy, away from him.

Curtis replies that Portia is merely assisting him in going over the files when Marshall inquires as to whether he is concerned about her becoming envious of him for spending so much time working with Jordan.
Even if she did ask Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) for assistance looking into them off the record, she had access as Deputy Mayor.
It’s funny that Jordan thinks they work well together now that they’re both civilians, considering their divorce was caused by her withholding job secrets from him!
However, she was being forced to tell Curtis that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and his goons had abducted TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and she couldn’t endanger his life by doing so.
General Hospital Spoilers: What If Curtis Ashford Was The Target?
But Marshall worries about Curtis’ safety, asking him what would happen if it turned out that he was the intended victim. Curtis is aware that the weapon was discovered in a Berlin WSB armory, but the information is meaningless because the weapon was probably taken and purchased from an arms dealer.
Given that Anna was in the WSB at the time, it did made reasonable to assume that she might have been the target; nevertheless, Sonny had already been shot at.
Curtis doesn’t care about it; if he was the intended victim, then why didn’t the hit man kill him in the hospital? Marshall is still concerned about Curtis’ safety, but he is also concerned about Curtis’ marriage!
