Spoilers for General Hospital (GH) This week on General Hospital, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) declared her intention to travel to Amsterdam in order to assist Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) in resolving the estate of the late Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary). Luke was Bobbie’s brother and Tracy’s spouse.
General Hospital spoilers: Luke Has Passed On
For many years, Jacklyn Zeman played Bobbie Spencer; tragically, she passed away in May. It was assumed that the character had already traveled to Amsterdam to handle her brother’s business matters; however, prior to doing so, she had sold Kelly’s Diner to her daughter Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for one dollar.
This trip could be the show’s way of honoring Bobbie, who passed away. The show hasn’t addressed the loss of one of its true icons.
Over the years, the show has done a commendable job of remembering and paying tribute to the actors who have passed away. Nothing less is expected of Zeman, who viewers have watched mature on screen.
It’s possible that Bobbie will meet her end in Amsterdam, much like Luke did, and in a way that would honor the person who gave her all to her protector and big brother.
General Hospital spoilers: Luke Spencer Died in Amsterdam
Luke was killed by the evil Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) in a cable car crash that he caused. The show could take this plot in a million different directions, with Bobbie’s death occurring in an accident on a cable car, an aircraft, or another vehicle. Alternatively, Bobbie might depart from this life in a manner that honors her commitment to the helping industry.
Bobbie worked as a nurse at GH for a long time, and she was always willing to lend a hand to those in need.

Sonya Eddy’s character, nurse Epiphany Johnson, had a similar contemplative farewell. Following Eddy’s untimely demise, the program developed a narrative in which the character passed away off-screen while assisting a stranger in need.
Without a doubt, General Hospital will honor one of its greatest leading ladies, Jacklyn Zeman, shortly. Although it is speculative, it appears likely that the trip to Amsterdam will have some connection to her memorial, given Tracy’s initial mention of it. We’ll just have to wait and see how the show handles what is undoubtedly going to be a heartfelt and exquisite farewell to one of the biggest stars of the day.
