For the first time since the actor’s passing, Tyler Christopher’s buddy and sponsor, according to General Hospital news, has come up. The Days of Our Lives and General Hospital star passed away on October 31st after suffering a cardiac attack, which many fans are well aware of. Just fifty years old was he. What you should know is as follows.

General Hospital: Friend of Tyler Christopher Makes First Public Statement

“I have never posted a picture of us together until today,” Tyler’s friend and sponsor said, posting many pictures of the two of them having fun. That was done on purpose. Without social media to distract us, our friendship was safe inside a bubble of sobriety and mental health assistance. I wanted his estranged relatives and friends to know he was okay, so I shared a lot of pictures of him. I had never wanted to take advantage of his celebrity; it had happened to him far too often. I am finding it difficult to live without Tyler; he was the friend I never realized I needed. You would never meet a sweeter soul than Tyler. To work on his book, Tyler relocated to San Diego.

“I was his only friend here, and we saw each other almost every day,” she went on. Tyler loved decorating his place, and he took great pride in it. Most days, we took our dogs for walks through Balboa Park. How he loved Tanka. He cherished movies, museums, and farmer’s markets. He gathered vintage James Dean artwork and publications. He was appreciative and constantly thanked me for each modest gesture of kind. I would stay by his side throughout his relapses and tell him again, “You are worthy of love, being healthy, your career, and every second I spend supporting your sobriety.” He dubbed it my exorcism from alcohol. He was quite fond of my friendship with his father, who was always thanking me.He eagerly anticipated his visits with his beloved kids. He enjoyed his work and seized any chance that presented itself; money was not an obstacle to his desire to take action, therefore we just managed to make it work.

General Hospital: Friends, Family, and Fans Will Really Miss Tyler

“I am sorry for your loss,” was a common comment left on Tyler’s Instagram post by a number of her fans. My sister was just taken away by addiction. I get how you’re feeling since you lost hope for Tyler. This adds to the depth of this kind of pain. “Take solace in realizing what a fantastic friend you were,” and “Knowing that he had a friend as wonderful as you eases the grief process!” I have to tell you about the last time I saw him in New York this year. I will always remember him for being such a good man. He talked about how hard it was for him to stay sober, but he was always so optimistic about life.

I’ve learned a little bit more about him thanks to your writing. Many thanks, and God bless you.
