General Hospital spoilers tease that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has made it clear that she is furious with Anna DeVane (Finola Hughes) in the aftermath of Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) shooting.

Elizabeth currently only knows that Anna shot Charlotte because she thought Charlotte was the vandal who had been pursuing Anna for several months.

Elizabeth is unaware at this time that Charlotte is truly responsible for damaging Anna’s hotel room and her home’s front door prior to it being set on fire.

General Hospital Spoilers – Charlotte Cassadine did not burn down Anna Devane’s house!

As of right now, James Patrick Stuart’s character Valentin Cassadine, Charlotte’s father, thinks Charlotte was also in charge of the fire. He is aware that Charlotte received a letter from Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) alerting her to the risk Anna poses to Valentin.

In addition, he sent her a tarot card deck that the Cassadines had previously used to corrupt others. A certain card and phrase awakened Cameron Matheson’s killer identity as Drew Cain. It’s possible that Charlotte has experienced something comparable.

GH Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber will worry that Jake Webber could be hurt by Charlotte Cassadine!

Elizabeth isn’t typically the kind of mother to advise her sons on who they should and shouldn’t date. She wasn’t that way with William Lipton’s Cameron Webber, and she remained silent about Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) interest in Charlotte until the shooting.

Elizabeth is aware of Charlotte’s potential danger, though, because she also knows that Jake was previously indoctrinated by the Cassadines. She might advise Jake to stop his relationship with Charlotte if she finds out that she was duped by Victor, at least until she has time to gather her thoughts.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jake Webber will think Charlotte Cassadine needs her now more than ever!

However, Jake is probably going to argue that this is the precise moment he needs to be there for Charlotte and push back against his mother. He will want to get engaged if he can be of any assistance to her, having gone through a similar experience himself. Elizabeth, though, might not give up this time.

As viewers are aware, Elizabeth was once misled into thinking Jake had died after Anthony Geary’s character Luke Spencer struck him with his vehicle.

It turned out that Jake was alive the whole time, but Elizabeth knows how it feels to lose Jake, she won’t likely let him anywhere near Charlotte until it’s certain she is no longer a danger to anyone!

What do you think?

Will Elizabeth decide not to approve of Jake and Charlotte dating? Is Charlotte being used as a tool merely to harm Anna, or are there other goals as well?

Should Elizabeth distance herself from Jake until Charlotte is fully herself again? In Port Charles, anything may happen, so keep an eye on General Hospital.
