General Hospital Comings & Goings: Spencer Cassadine Shocker Ahead?
According to GH casting updates, there was a recent leak indicating that Nicholas Chavez’s character Spencer Cassadine might not be back on the show for a while. As you may remember, Nicholas Chavez was cast as Lyle Menendez in the Netflix series MONSTERS: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story a while back.
In 1996, the boys were found guilty of the 1989 killings of their parents. Undoubtedly, Nicholas’ career will benefit much from this. Unfortunately, though, it will temporarily remove him from General Hospital. He may have to be written off momentarily while he films for Netflix, unless they tape a tonne of episodes ahead of time for him.
A plausible explanation for his disappearance would be that he set out to locate his father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), who had gone missing. However, if the authors choose a different path, it can be problematic for his relationship with Tabyana Ali’s character Trina Robinson.
Hopefully, the romance surrounding “Sprina” will not fade. Their fan base does not want to see them apart as they are only growing closer. Hopefully, Spencer won’t be absent from Port Chuck for too long given this new chance.
GH Casting News: Gloria Cerullo Out
Further News show casting for General Hospital Soon after Thanksgiving, Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) was released. Naturally, her granddaughter Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and daughter Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) are overjoyed that she is coming. She did, however, arrive with a good deal of drama.
However, now that they’ve assisted her in managing that, she’ll probably be returning to Bensonhurst. Lois, however, is not limited by time. She also wishes to stay put for BLQ, her daughter. Hopefully, Lois will be staying in General Hospital for a considerable amount of time.
GH Casting News: Emma Scorpio Takes Off
Further GH casting tidbits reveal that Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) will shortly return from PC. It was over Thanksgiving when she recently returned to cheer up her grandma, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Yes, Anna’s life is a complete mess at the moment.
In order to surprise Emma, her ex-husband Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) flew her into town. However, she will soon be returning home. There are also rumours that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are departing General Hospital.
But that sounds improbable, most likely just a rumour. There’s also a possibility Matt Cohen’s character Gryphon Munro makes a comeback. Additionally, Anthony Montgomery’s character Andre Maddox may make a brief comeback. The current GH is intense.
