Ethan Anderson and Marcus Dean’s future plans have been hinted to by Emmerdale executives Jane Hudson and Laura Shaw.
Ethan Anderson, played by Emile John, and Marcus Dean, played by Darcy Grey, have recently taken a backseat in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. However, ITV executives claim that the couple will be the focus of an explosive storyline that will result in their breaking up permanently. Additionally, it was implied that Ethan’s father Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) would be responsible for the breakup.

Jane gave a sneak preview of what viewers may anticipate when she said: “We’ve got our Anderson family, Charles, Ethan, Naomi, and Manpreet who’s with Charles.

Charles and Manpreet now have their own home, which is wonderful.

And we will watch Ethan and Marcus go through a difficult trip together, which will leave Ethan young, free, and single. Where will that leave us?

“There is a lot in store for the Andersons this year, and there is a lot going to happen for Charles in particular,” the executive producer continued.

“But I’m not going to tell you what that is right now; you’ll have to stay watching because it’s happening a little later in the year,” she said.

Up until recently, Ethan and Marcus’ relationship appeared to be healthy till the lawyer’s boss Greg (Daniel Betts) made a move on the man.

As he was preparing dinner, Ethan exclaimed to Marcus, “Hey, you made it.”

Marcus suggested, “Why don’t I take over here and you guys go and talk legal shop.”

Greg remarked as he led Marcus into the living room to arrange drinks, “If we are in his way.

However, when Greg made a play on his coworker’s boyfriend, things quickly changed.

“Greg stated, “I’m delighted you made it, and Marcus responded, “Ethan wanted me here. Anything I could do for him.”

Greg put his hand on Marcus’ leg as Ethan walked upstairs to change his clothes.

Marcus begged him not to knock his hand off.

Greg insisted, “I was simply going to grab a drink.” You seem a little on edge, don’t you?
“Greg questioned, “What did you think was going to happen? My error,” to which Marcus replied, “My bad. What did you anticipate?”

Marcus leapt up and yelled, “I am not interested,” as the lawyer reached out to touch his leg once more.

Greg was pushed against the wall by Ethan after he caught him making another pass.

According to ITV’s official previews, Ethan tells Marcus and Naomi that Greg is attempting to discredit the complaint.

Ethan admits that he’s debating ending the inquiry and leaving his work since he’s unsure what to do about the injustice of it all.

Marcus learns from Naomi (Karene Peter) that she has a plan to help tip the balance of justice in Ethan’s favor.

As Nate (Jurell Carter) refuses to be used as bait and Marcus raises concerns, Naomi’s plan begins to take shape but appears doomed to failure.

Nate agrees, though, when Naomi emphasizes that Ethan might lose his job, and he then leaves, drawing Greg’s attention as he does so.

The plot is now officially in action when Greg approaches and offers to buy Nate a drink.

Nate is hesitantly standing near the bar with Greg as they flirt as Greg records it on his phone. Will Greg get caught in the honeytrap planned?
