The 48-year-old has become one of Emmerdale’s most adored characters.

One of the most well-known characters in Emmerdale is thought to be Rebecca Sarker.

Since 2018, the soap opera actor has played Manpreet Sharma in the made-up Yorkshire community. The protagonist has had a challenging time in the village because the evil Meena Jutla nearly killed her.

As she is in a relationship with Charles Anderson, Manpreet is currently experiencing a more settled time in Emmerdale. Rebecca was devastated by the last week’s events on the show, which resulted in Priya Sharma leaving the community.

Rebecca sent a touching note on Instagram following the departure of her co-star, Fiona Wade, who played the role. I’m leaving, she declared. The Thelma to my Louise, my dance partner, and greatest friend at both business and pleasure. I adore you.

In an interview with OK! in 2021, Rebecca spoke up on her family life away from the screen. I have to correct the record, she said. My two sons are boys.

“My oldest always wants me to tell everyone that I’ve got two boys, and my youngest is 10 and enjoys the fact that his elder brother, now 15, is never mentioned.”

She added “I say, ‘Yes, darling. I will big you up at every opportunity.’ He’s a black belt in karate, plays the guitar, and is very handsome.”

Rebecca frequently updates her Instagram followers on her active life. As she posed with her two sons during a summer vacation last year, the 48-year-old swooned.

Rebecca also regularly updates her social media followers on her rigorous workout regimen, and last year, she dazzled viewers on ITV’s The Games, which saw celebrities competing against one another in tasks inspired by the Olympics.
