Coronation Street’s Daniel Osbourne was recently left heartbroken after Daisy Midgeley admitted to cheating on him with Ryan Connor. Daniel has since turned cold towards Daisy and won’t let her off lightly.
Rob Mallard as Daniel Osbourne on Coronation Street has become antagonistic towards Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) following the revelation of her extramarital affair with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott). When the teacher’s former flame, Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon), comes to Weatherfield, he plans to get his own revenge on his former fiancée.

In later scenes, Daisy confides in Jenny Connor (Sally-Ann Matthews) about how embarrassed she is to discover that Daniel appears to be focusing on his former flame, Bethany.
Jenny breaks the good news to Daisy, telling her that Waterford’s has allowed them to return to the pub full-time while the sale is being finalized, so Daisy may relax.
In another scene, Bethany paid a visit to Sarah Barlow’s (Tina O’Brien) apartment and expressed her happiness at having her daughter back in time for the holidays.
Gail Platt (Helen Worth) is also delighted to see her granddaughter back and suggests they celebrate with a family lunch at Speed Daal.
As the Platt family make their way to their lunch, Daisy clocks Bethany and points her out to Jenny.
Later, Jenny reveals that Daniel slept with Bethany last night, leaving Gail, David Platt (Jack P Shephard) and Sarah stunned.
Has Bethany already made her way back into Daniel’s life? Is Daniel making things up just to get back at Daisy?
Will he regret pushing Daisy away and ruining their future forever? Or will he go back to Bethany after she left him just three years ago.
Actress Lucy Fallon opened up about her return to the cobbles and told Digital Spy: “I want her to be involved in some drama, obviously that goes without saying, and I’d like her to get the person that she wants.
“Hopefully she does? I don’t know if she definitely will yet. I’d like to see her pursue her journalism career and for it all to work out,” she added.
“But then I do want there to be some drama. I don’t know what drama I want that to be. But I hope that there is some, which I’m sure there will be.”
