EastEnders viewers rejoiced this week after being away for almost five years when Peter Beale makes an exciting return to Walford.
During the special 35th-anniversary episodes Actor Dayle Hudson made his debut as Peter and has already established a strong fan base.
In 2015, Peter fled Walford after his younger brother Bobby accidentally killed his twin sister Lucy in the discovery.
However, after he was brutally beaten up by a group of bullies and needed emergency surgery on Tuesday (February 18), Kathy Beale pleaded with grandson Peter to visit Bobby in hospital.

Until now, Ian is unaware of the return of his eldest son to Albert Square. Since Dennis Rickman's tragic death at the boat party, though, Ian will need all the help he can get from his family when he comes to terms with the ordeal and meets a best friend, Sharon Mitchell.
EastEnders fans have already expressed their support and love for the new Peter Beale, as Dayle is the seventh actor to play this role.
