However, the 18-year-old actress, who plays Tiffany Butcher in the popular soap, really put all the rumours to bed.
She told MailOnline: "I'm filming most of my scenes with Zack, of course, we've built a great friendship. Nothing but mates." Zack, 21, who plays Keegan Baker added: "Most of our filming days are spent together, so we've grown closer as friends but nothing more than that." It comes after the couple were seen catching the same cab home after the boozy night and people started speculating about whether.

A TV expert confirmed to MailOnline: "Maisie and Zack are very near off-screen, as well as being a married couple in EastEnders." After the party on Saturday night, the insider added, they were the only cast members to take the same cab home together.
A second said: "They couldn't resist showing one another their affections, with Maisie tickling the back of Zack's neck as the party left." Romance flourished as their characters grew closer, which only adds to their on-screen chemistry.
