Colby, played by Tim Franklin, is sorely missed by his audience.

When Tim Franklin’s character Colby Thorne left the soap opera Home and Away in February 2021, fans were heartbroken. As the character of the cop is still alive and incarcerated for the murder of his controlling stepfather Ross Nixon, many people hold out hope that he may one day return.

In the Paramount+ series Last King of the Cross, Tim will co-star with fellow Home and Away alum Lincoln Younes as a police officer. He reconnected with a dear buddy during the debut of the first episode, which was released on Friday.

To show her support for Tim, Emily Weir, who plays Mackenzie Booth, attended the Paramount+ event. The brunette looked stunning in a high-waisted, silky brown skirt and top.

She wore silver stilettos with a stripe pattern to complete her look and left her straight hair loose.

Tim posted a photo of the two posing with Home and Away director Ian Watson, who also directed two episodes of Paramount’s new series, on Instagram.

“Check out The Last King of the Cross on Paramount+.” #typecast I play a cop once more, Tim said in the caption.

Fans pleaded with Home and Away producers to send Colby back to Summer Bay after viewing pictures from the premiere.

‘We must have Colby back!’ One supporter pleaded, “Mac and Colby were great together!!!!!”

“They shouldn’t have eliminated Colby’s character; he had a fantastic personality before they turned him evil. Another person chimed in, “I hope they get a few people off the show and bring Colby back as a great character.

I really want Tim would return to Home and Away because I know Dean would be thrilled to see him. Another said, “I miss him, Dean, and Willow all together.

Others were ecstatic to finally see the two fan favourites reunited.

A fan exclaimed, “Beautiful images of a beautiful reunion xxx.”

Yeah, it’s wonderful to see you and Tim Franklin working together once more. Another person remarked, “The good old Mac and Colby days.”

Another remarked, “I adore these pictures so much.
