Home and Away’s Cash Newman confronts dangerous Tex Wheeler after crash horror

The following week, Cash Newman from Home and Away would face the wicked Tex Wheeler on UK television.

Since Cash helped put down the deadly biker gang that had been harassing the Parata family last year, Tex hasn’t been seen on the show.

As the gang of criminals are to blame for the terrible crash that ruined Tane Parata and Felicity Newman’s wedding day, the high-stakes plot is now being replayed.

After shooting gang leader Marty in self-defense while performing police work last year, Cash received a hit. Under the mistaken belief that Cash would be taking his sister to the ceremony, the group wrecked Felicity’s wedding automobile.

The episodes that air the following week feature Cash struggling because his love interest Eden Fowler, who was involved in the incident, is still unconscious.

On the day of the tragedy, Cash had intended to propose to Eden. He now worries that he won’t ever get the opportunity to express his feelings.

On a mission for revenge, Cash visits Tex in prison to demand answers. He conducts this without the police task force’s consent, which is in charge of the investigation into the biker gang.

Tex can’t help but mock the policeman because he is so smug about Cash’s visit, but he soon realises that the officer isn’t willing to play nice.

Tex, who thinks he has the upper hand, won’t reveal anything regarding the cut brake lines unless Cash is willing to work out a police agreement with him.

Cash makes it clear that he won’t bargain with criminals – and wouldn’t be able to help anyhow as he has gone rogue by sidelining his police colleagues.

Cash realises that Eden must have been engaged in setting up the Parata house to be bugged for information while preparing the car sabotage when Tex spills Eden’s name.

Eventually, Cash goes back home and joins forces with his police partner Rose Delaney to show that Tex has been issuing orders through a messenger while in prison.

Cash is still hesitant to provide the task force with this information. Instead, he plans his own course of action by sending the bikies a telegram asking them to specify a day and location where they can finally put their animosity to rest.

Could Cash end up regretting this choice?
