The day of Felicity’s wedding, when the two women were engaged in a terrible car accident that saw the car flip multiple times before catching fire, Eden (Stephanie Panozzo), has been unconscious ever since.
Eden was the most seriously hurt because she was the driver, and she is still unconscious despite frequent visits from Cash (Nicholas Cartwright), Felicity (Jacqui Purvis), Remi (Adam Rowland), and Kirby (Angelina Thomson).
Eden starts to awaken suddenly while Rose (Kirsty Marillier) and Cash are gone dealing with the bikers. She is in a panic when Bree (Juliet Godwin) rushes in and comforts her. She can feel the tube in her throat assisting her breathe. She is understandably disoriented and perplexed, but Kirby and Remi are soon by her side to welcome her back.
When Cash takes up the phone, he is delighted to hear that Eden is awake. She is pleased to see him when he rushes to the hospital to see her. But she seems perplexed when Cash starts sharing his emotions with her. Kirby hears Eden call out to her abruptly from outside, sounding terrified. What does he mean that they can be together, she wonders as she looks up at Cash and shudders in dread.
Before Eden fell into a coma, she was pining for Cash and telling him she loved him. Kirby, Bree, and Cash trade looks. She should hear from Cash that he understands her emotions…As a consequence of her coma, Eden obviously has amnesia.
But does this indicate that her romance with Cash is over before it even got started? Bree suggests that it might be best for Cash to depart, but Eden insists that he stay. Cash, who is devastated, is compelled to take his new situation and depart from Eden with her friends.
Eden is upset because she has no idea what Cash was talking about and is terrified because she has no memory of him.
Bree sends her for scans, but that isn’t enough for Eden – she begs her friends for details of her forgotten relationship. However, everyone is tight-lipped, not wanting to distress her further and hoping her memories will return. But will they?
