After getting wasted on a night out, Aaron Sandford recently sexually assaulted Amy Barlow, a teenager from Coronation Street. Amy, however, is about to make a significant turn after Tracy Barlow, Amy’s mother, shows up.
After being raped by Aaron (James Craven), Amy (Ellen Mulvany) has been having a hard time coping and has kept her ordeal a secret. According to Coronation Street spoilers, Amy will be humiliated by her mother Tracy (Kate Ford), to whom she confides this week, forcing Amy to backtrack on her criticism of Aaron.

In upcoming scenes, Amy is concerned when she learns Tracy has distributed flyers about Aaron throughout Weatherfield.

She tells Amy no one will know she put up the flyers in an effort to reassure her daughter.

Later, Mary discovers a flyer on the florist’s printer. She shows Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) what she has discovered, causing Abi to realize what has happened and confront Aaron.

Amy is devastated because everyone has figured out what happened to her after Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) stops at No. 1 and tells Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and Tracy about the flyer on the flower shop printer.

Tracy calls the police station and tethers herself to the desk after becoming enraged that she hasn’t heard anything regarding her daughter’s case.

She tells the sergeant that she won’t move until they begin to treat Amy’s accusation of rape seriously.

Later, when Steve and Amy arrive at the police station, Tracy is about to conduct an interview with Suki, a reporter for the Gazette, but Amy begs her mother not to.

Abi later informs Aaron that she has learned from people on the cobbles that Amy has modified her account of what transpired that evening between them.

Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) runs into Aaron on the street and accuses him of raping Amy. However, he soon learns that Amy has changed her story.

When Amy changes her story and pays her a visit, Summer and Aadi are perplexed, but it is obvious that neither of them is persuaded by her about-face.

Amy and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) spend some time together in an effort to mend their friendship, but when an image of Aadi and Aaron appears, Summer notices Amy’s discomfort but doesn’t press for an explanation.

Later, Amy is left to go to the Speed Daal for their takeout after Tracy suggests a movie night with a curry on the couch. However, when she spots Aaron at the counter, she turns and leaves the restaurant.

Recently, actress Elle talked openly about the conversations she and James had prior to filming the rape scenes.

“He spoke to me beforehand, we checked our respective boundaries, and he made sure I was comfortable every step of the way,” she told OK! magazine.

“He sent me a message afterward to check on me. We had to reach a point where we were both completely certain of what would transpire.

Because this character is so unlike James, the majority of people are buying the story and praising the actor for his performance. He is undoubtedly among the most charming people ever.

“He always has my back, and I always have his. It just goes to show that anything can happen to anyone when it happens to a feisty, headstrong character.

Amy is very self-assured, so it’s an interesting perspective for something like this to happen to her of all people.

It’s a common misconception that rape victims are helpless prey who have been taken advantage of. It is the rapist’s fault and not the victim’s.

“At this point, I think it’s really fascinating to watch Amy go on this journey as she negotiates all the emotions she’s experiencing,” said the viewer.
