Colson, who plays Craig Tinker on Corrie, chatting to Lorraine Kelly on Good Morning Britain this morning. And Lorraine, who was 60, decided to throw it back to the 21-year-old’s first appearance on the show from 2011.

Colson, who at the time was 12, appeared unrecognizable in the clip. He was seen with rosy cheeks and Mohican hair as he appeared with Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and on-screen mom Beth Tinker (Lisa George).

Colson appeared to blush as the clip was shown to viewers. Fans loved his appearance on the soap, though, as one fan wrote on Twitter: “Have to say, Craig from Corrie seems like a genuinely sweet lad… # Lorraine.” Another added: “Craig will always be our Corrie hero forever!” Colson said he couldn’t wait to get back to the Corrie set and start shooting the show.
Soap filming has already been stopped in amid the coronavirus lockdown. Yesterday, fellow Corrie star Andy Whyment confirmed that ITV is about to run out of pre-recorded episodes of the soap.

Speaking at the United Podcast earlier this week, Andy – who plays Kirk Sutherland on Corrie – said, “I think we’ve got in the can before the beginning of July. So let’s expect to get back in mid-June with a little bit of luck, or it’s going to go off the air.” The actor added, “We’ve cut from six episodes a week to three episodes a week, obviously to live, so hopefully we’ll get off of the show.”
As well as today’s clip, Colson also recently wowed fans with his transformation to weight loss. Despite overhauling his fitness, Colson has recently admitted that food poisoning caused him to lose one and a half stones in December.
